You need some space

I didn't anticipate how much STUFF I would have to find room for when I started Track and Trail. I already had a place to paint, but all of sudden there were boxes of cards and a mat cutter and sissix and boxes for mailing orders and tissue paper and, now, framed paintings! Jeff and I agreed that one of the kid's old bedrooms would be a great studio, but now the little shower off the master bedroom is a closet. I put all the framed work in suitcases and stacked them in the shower along with display racks and everything else I could stuff in there. I wonder what other people do? We don't have a basement or garage, so...?
Anyway, it is truly gift to have my own space. I love putting little things that have meaning on my bulletin board and a having a place to hang art by local artists I admire for inspiration. I have a box of mistakes that I look through periodically to remind me not to do that again! And one place, one place only, for all the paperwork! What a luxury! I am soooo grateful! I would love to run around and photograph artists' studios.

I wonder what we could know just by looking at that?
